After receiving more information and selecting a date on the calendar especially for your family, officially book your session with just a paid retainer and signed contract.

Let’s dive into your vision for your session as we cover locations, inspiration, wardrobe styling, and more! Yep! I’ll walk you through the planning process with your own customized mood board, and help you choose outfits for your session. Let out that anxious breath you didn’t realize you were holding!

HAVE FUN!
Your session is here! Now, relax and enjoy while we create some art together! This is your time to enjoy your family & my time to bust out all the moves to get everyone engaged and excited!

CREATE YOUR HEIRLOOMS
About a month after your session, you’ll receive a breathtaking gallery full of photos to treasure. That’s right; you get to select your collection last! Once you see your images, choose how you’d like to display them!

Wait, so you use film? like, film film?
Yep, film film! Actual old-school, physical film you’ll see me load and unload from my camera throughout our session! This decision enhances the timeless, soft, brilliant qualities you love while creating a more intentional, thoughtful session experience.
But if you photograph film, how do we receive a digital gallery?
Thanks to my amazing partner in art, my Oregon film lab, we are able to develop and scan each image, converting them to digital files without losing any of the film appeal! Then, I edit them just as I would any other digital image! While this extra step adds a little extra time (about 2-3 additional weeks after our session together), I know you’ll adore the results.
My husband and kid(s) have a hard time sitting still. Do you offer mini sessions instead?
Because I focus on connection and interaction, my session style doesn’t translate well into a mini session. So, unfortunately, I don’t offer them. But never fear! As a former middle school teacher and current mom of two, I have endless strategies to engage your little ones in the process! I can’t wait to show you my unique approach to family photography!
To be honest, we are kind of awkward in front of a camera. Can you help?
Absolutely! Believe it or not, most people feel exactly like you do! But by providing gentle direction, I create a space for you to connect with your family organically while looking like a million bucks! I deliver images filled with flattering angles AND genuine smiles, because I believe you deserve both.
This ALL sounds amazing! How far in advance should we book?
Wonderful! I recommend booking your session at least 2-3 months in advance, as my limited calendar space tends to fill quickly. I look forward to guiding you through this journey!
