Fall in California really is one of my favorite times – not only is our weather *generally* warm still, but the light is the most delicious, golden light of all. Combine that with two beyond precious babies and a beautifully and flawlessly styled family – and you have the recipe for a gorgeous family portrait session! From the instant I first met the Louie Family, it felt like we were old friends. While planning their session, we decided that golden hour didn’t quite work out for their family schedule – something so very common for families with younger ones during the summer/early fall months. The good news is – golden hour isn’t the only time to take photos 😉 We met at the Oak Grove in the early afternoon and we talked about life – families, raising babies, and everything in between. I watched them just truly love on and enjoy each other’s company during their time in front of my camera and let me just tell you – that is the very best gift you can give your family (& your photographer! hi!) during your session…the images we created together radiate happiness, joy, and most importantly, so much love for one another ♡
